About this Resource
Digital tools like SuperMeg are awesome, but sometimes we need to be able to fill out a worksheet live and in person. This helps kids and families figure out how they want to cope, and choose the strategies they want to use.
How to Use
Have the child fill this out before their next poke. It’s best if you can talk about it a few days before the needle poke when it’s usually less stressful, but even having them fill it out right before is helpful! It helps them have the sense of choice and control that reduces anxiety and increases the chance of success. Be sure to bring it show your medical provider so they can support the plan!
Who is this for
Kids, parents, and providers.
